This is a record of the day the first African American man became President of the United States of America. The short documentary captures the many events taking place in Washington, D.C. as well as the emotions of the city's residents and visitors during the inauguration. The production of this video was a team effort by the editor of the multimedia team and the video journalists of The Washington Post in 2009.
